A personal desktop connection for organising and transferring files in Yamen Fahham’s own Google Drive.

Rclone runs on the owner’s Windows computer. Google handles authorisation through its own sign-in and consent screens.

What this connection does

  • Lists and checks existing files and folders.
  • Uploads, downloads, copies and synchronises files as instructed by the owner.
  • Renames, moves or deletes files when the owner requests those actions.

Why Drive access is needed

Rclone needs file information and, where a command requires it, file contents to carry out those tasks. Access to existing Drive files is needed because this setup manages more than files originally created by Rclone.

The connection requests permission to view and manage Drive files. The owner can revoke access at any time.
